What might we do.
◊ An outing to Sydney incorporating the rocks area for historical theme and street photography,
◊ How about a visit to Bass Point [Bushrangers Bay],
◊ Anita's Theater, apparently the building inside is great,
or Hill 60 and the old Helensburgh train Tunnel or the Sea cliff bridge and any other outing that may take our fancy, If you have an idea then let us know at the next meeting.
and how about these workshops.
Some of our members would like to know how to photo Fireworks, Storms, time exposures, Use reflectors and filters, HDR, Photo shop and a macro workshop, as a member, do you have the knowledge on any of these subjects to give a talk at a workshop. If so let us know.

Photographing in Sydney is ideal for golden-hour harbor shots, whale watching tours, and festive lane way events.
Visit The Rocks to photograph the "Christmas in July" events featuring falling snow, festive stalls, and historic sandstone lane ways. Harbor Icons & Architecture: July sunsets occur earlier, allowing for perfect pre-sunset shots from Observatory Hill or a Sydney Harbor Bridge Pylon Lookout session between 4 PM and 5 PM.
PM. Whale Watching: July is the peak of the humpback whale migration. Book a photography cruise out of Circular Quay to shoot breaching whales against the dramatic coastline.
Dramatic Coastal Cliffs: Head to the Southern Coast for winter swells breaking against Bondi Icebergs or the striking geological features of Turimetta Beach.
Things you should know.
QUESTION: If I am filming on Sea Cliff Bridge or along Lawrence Hargrave Drive, or on Council land like Wollongong Harbor, do I need to obtain permission.
ANSWER: Yes, depending on your filming activity, you may need permission from Transport for NSW [ 131500 ] (formerly RMS) or the Wollongong City Council [ (02) 4227 7111 ].
When you need Transport for NSW approval:
Drones: If you are planning to launch or land a drone on the land adjacent to the bridge, you must get permission from the Wollongong City Council.
Road Occupancy: If your shoot impacts traffic flow, requires lane or total road closures, or requires filming from a moving vehicle on Lawrence Hargrave Drive, you must apply for a Road Occupancy Licence (ROL).
General: For any filming activity in the immediate vicinity of Sea Cliff Bridge, it is highly recommended to email Transport for NSW.
